No sympathy for Huntley at all, but the way some people are celebrating the attacker is disturbing. Not so much on here, to be fair to all of you.

He is also a murderer and rapist, like Huntley. He raped and killed a pregnant woman. He isn’t a hero. He got a whole life tariff because of what he did. He killed multiple people. He was able to get access to Huntley because he was in the same place and he was in the same place because he’s just as bad.

There are families living with the grief of what he did too. He deserves no praise for this and papers like The Sun and the Daily Mail really need to stop putting his photo everywhere. He has victims out there who don’t deserve to see him treated like a hero.

I’m sure he’d already been partially blinded in a previous attack? Or am I thinking of someone else?

It doesn’t look good on our prison system if this happened. There will be a fault somewhere and maybe a claim along the lines because like it or not, Huntley is entitled to safety while he is kept in His Majesty’s Prisons.

going with „left blind“ on the headline is wild when you read reports to suggest he’s probably actually dead and only being kept alive by the hospital. It sounded like the head injuries were so severe he’s not likely to come back at all.
