    1. > “When they came in with the initial offer, it was, you know, a little offensive,” Applegate noted. “And I said I can’t. I know my worth, and I can’t do that. They wanted me bad enough, and they said, ‘Well, we’re gonna chip in.’, Thank god they did because it was one of the best experiences of my entire life.”

      > Applegate continued, “It was such a lesson. I had never done improv before. Learning from that group of dudes… that is the masterclass that people pay for. Steve Carell like taught it. Adam McKay developed an entire new way of doing it with his group. To get in there and have that happen was absolutely magic and it’s been invaluable to me and my career.”

Love her but it’s not exactly your worth if your coworkers had to chip in to supplement your pay

Someone educate me. Isn’t the fact that she had so much to learn, the basis of the lower salary?

Imagine a woman getting paid less and being deemed unqualified for her job because she’s a woman. Almost like the actual storyline of the film.

Bill that it had to come out of their salaries. God knows the studio could pay for it. But instead everyone took less so the studio could make more

    6. Wow, what a great choice, by the actor, the folks with the money can go suck a fat loaf of turd

    7. Given the plot of the movie that’s pretty meta. It’s like the Studio execs didn’t bother reading the script, however we all know that it’s because studio execs are heartless monsters.
