Ups, tut mir leid, dass ich einen Fehler gemacht habe und aus Versehen die Wahrheit gesagt habe. Ich nehme das zurück.

Edit2: nvm I guess there is sound. I can’t hear and a few others can’t either.

Let this be a learning moment for all of us who sort by new.  This is a gif, no sound.  Theres like 5 ppl in here acting like they hear whats going on.

Edit:maybe there’s no sound on mobile

What did he slip? Aside from getting countries mixed up because he is obviously to old for this job…I am not sure what the point of this is? Did I miss something?

Hey bots, what am I supposed to be mad at?

  4. for those who can’t get audio to work:

interviewer: „Do you think Israel forced the US’s hand here? Boxed us in on it?“

Sen. Chuck Schumer: „No one wants a nuclear war. No one wants a nuclear Israel. But we certainly don’t want an endless war. Plain and simple.“

*CS turns to leave, reporters talk to him off-mike and he returns*

CS: „what did I say? Oh. Let me say that again.“

    *laughter*

CS: „No one wants an endless war but we certainly don’t want a nuclear Iran. That’s for sure. Okay?“

I think this is just a senior moment. Because the first phrase didn’t make any sense. It’s not really a Freudian slip, when the sentence is just jumbled.

Who cares if someone messed up their words? What I care about is that the media pulled him back so that he said it correctly.

What are they „reporting“ on if they already know what the narrative is supposed to be?
