      12 year sentence and a 17 year driving ban, so he’ll serve about 8 years and then be banned for another 9 years after that

      Drink driving, 60 in a 30, and failing to stop. Got 12 years in prison and 17 year driving disqualification.

      What a twat, and least he plead guilty.

      >The court heard the defendant had 12 previous convictions for 27 crimes from the age of 16 including robbery, aggravated vehicle taking and driving offences.

      If he had been locked up for good after his fifith such conviction (maybe not the driving offences, depending on what they are), the poor victim would not have lost his life.
