Crazy that doctors said the exact opposite for DECADES in most parts of the world.

eggs have been viewed skeptically because of their impact on serum cholesterol levels

    > Among patients not receiving lipid-lowering drugs, moderate egg intake (3–4 eggs/week) was associated with a lower prevalence of multi-vessel disease. Furthermore, worldwide ecological analyses have identified a significant negative association between egg intake and the incidence and mortality of ischemic heart disease. Given their high nutritional value, relatively low cost, and the evidence presented, eggs could contribute to healthy diets in many countries worldwide.

3-4 eggs per week seems to be healthier than no eggs.

Should we be skeptical that this is coming from the journal of poultry news?

  5. This study produced by an association with multiple poultry industry sponsors who stand to financially gain from an increase in egg sales

  6. I personally have consumed 3 days everyday for about 12 yrs and my bloodwork has always been great. So for myself I’ll stick with eating eggs

  7. Completely pointless to do these studies specifically on eggs as if they’re some kind of drug with miraculous effects.Thats why only industry funders fund these studies. We already know what an egg is comprised of. We already know it’s pretty much saturated fat, cholesterol, and protein. We already know plenty about these things and their effect on health. The egg is just the shape in which these nutrients are delivered.
