      Michael Healy Rae is like Ireland’s version of MAGA. Elected by dopes to ’stick it to the elites up in Dublin‘ all while being a multi millionaire grifter.

      I was reading a thing recently about consumer sentiment in the US – even though the economy is objectively flying, people aren’t feeling it, and actually sentiment about the economy is as bad as during recessions.

      I’d say there’s a bit of that in a lot of first world countries at the moment – some form of housing, cost of living, etc, crisis‘ ongoing at the same time, and wondering if AI is going to eat your job, and Donald is going to get us all killed in the morning.

      So… I’d just stick to reading the funny pages!

      Well sure isn’t it great being in an apparently unsolvable housing crisis and being governed by our landlord overlords.

      35 out of 174 TDs is not a high percentage. And a few of those just owned farm land or rented a room in their own property.
