Der Anführer der türkisch-zyprischen Gemeinschaft, Herr Tufan Erhürman, besuchte gestern zusammen mit den griechischen Zyprioten das Rizokarpaso-Gymnasium im besetzten Dorf.
Ich hoffe, dass sein Besuch die Probleme dieser Schule auf praktischer Ebene ansprechen wird.

One thing I would say,
As a result of this action, people realized that some GC children are living in the north.
In the free areas we don’t differentiate between GC and TC schools. I don’t even know what GC school means. There are public schools and private schools.
I knew of Christian Cypriots living and their children going to school in the occupied areas obviously but I didn’t know there is 1 “GC” school in a village somewhere. What’s so different about it? Is the curriculum the same as the Cypriot one ? How big is it anw? Are we talking about 10-20 children with 5-10 teachers who just focus on teaching them in Greek ? Is it a just a the one primary school or are there also high schools ? How many are we talking about ? Are there also girls schools and boys schools ? Christian and Muslim schools ?
I trust Nikos and Tufan. Both are very versed on the issue and willing for a solution. Hope they don’t disappoint this time…
