Hallo Leute, ich wollte meine SCHUFA-Selbstauskunft einholen. Ich habe diese Website gefunden: schnelle-selbstauskunft.com, und ich habe sie genutzt.
Sie schickten mir ein PDF mit einem Brief, der angeblich an die SCHUFA geschickt wurde, und verlangen jetzt 29,90 € für die Abwicklung des Dienstes. Sie sagen auch, dass eine Stornierung oder ein Rücktritt nicht möglich sei.
Ich habe (nach dieser Falle) gehört, dass die SCHUFA einmal im Jahr eine kostenlose Selbstauskunft anbietet, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob diese Website sicher ist oder ob ich nicht zahlen muss.
Ich habe auf TikTok ein Video gesehen, in dem es heißt, wenn du sie weiterhin ignorierst, bekommst du den Gelbschein
Hat jemand diesen Service genutzt? Kann ich ohne Bezahlung stornieren? Oder sollte ich sie einfach ignorieren und den kostenlosen Bericht direkt bei der SCHUFA einholen?

Yeah, that’s one of these scammy sites that sells you a service that’s actually free. Good luck, battling that shit of with them. They usually intentionally obscure the fact that they actually incur costs for their services. Sometimes they even make their sites out to look similar to the actual service site to trick people into thinking that it’s the official website of the Schufa or the Rundfunkbeitrag.
The SCHUFA itself offers a free option to get your information. Because even that option is somewhat hidden behind a subscription if you aren’t careful, and because getting a SCHUFA disclosure is a fairly common thing which nonetheless seems arcane for most people, a lot of 3rd parties have latched on to this and offer this kind of „service“ to make the process easier (even though it’s already fairly easy if you just confront it head on).
So, you’ve availed yourself of the service of such a 3rd party. You’ve agreed to their terms of service and pricing. Bite the bullet and pay.
I’d always go to Schufa, which is legit. Just googling what you selected sounds greyish to me, including customer references

They charged you to do it on your behalf, but a dsgvo data request has to be free by law.
Next time, ask before you do something you’re unsure of, not the other way around. Trustpilot doesn’t give a good picture about this website just so you know.
