      Well, yeah, obviously? Who would want their country to be torn apart?

      The independence movements are not coming from nowhere and it won’t just magically stop. That’s not an issue you can shove under the rug and hope it will disappear eventually.

      If Canadians don’t want provinces leaving, maybe we should address the root cause of their issues instead of dismissing them.

      I’d miss Quebec, Alberta not so much. To put in relationship terms, Canada and Alberta just aren’t a good match. They seem better suited to the U.S. Quebec on the other hand, they belong. I love the culture. There’s too much whining over their language laws. Seriously it’s such a small ask. It’s a beautiful wonderful province and I would live their in a heart beat if I could.
