Cultures match and cultures clash. Race should have little if anything to do with it. If people are on the same page with social norms then it shouldn’t matter if you’re white, black, yellow, brown or purple. Integrated Indo-Canadians are sometimes down on their newly landed countrymen not because they’re Indian but because they’re culturally not in tune with the existing social harmony. When I came to Japan and saw the deer in Nara Park I had the social awareness that I shouldn’t come back at night with my bow just because we enjoy venison where I’m from.
