Da KI nun die Stimme und das Abbild einer Person nahtlos nachahmen kann, bedeutet dies, dass unser digitales Abbild praktisch unsterblich ist. Wenn die KI Zugriff auf genügend Ihrer Konversationen und Texte hat, kann sie wahrscheinlich auch Ihre Persönlichkeit gut nachahmen.
Die Vorgabe im Urheberrecht ist, dass jeder sein eigenes Abbild besitzt. Aus diesem Grund sieht man im Fernsehen oft verschwommene Gesichter. Das bedeutet, dass die Produktionsfirma die Person nicht dazu gebracht hat, ein Model-Release-Formular zu unterschreiben. Allerdings ist das Gesetz hinsichtlich des Besitzes von Bildnissen nach dem Tod weitaus weniger klar. Es variiert je nach Land und Staat und gewährt dem Einzelnen im Allgemeinen viel weniger Rechte.
Ist es an der Zeit, diese Gesetze zu stärken? Der Gedanke, auf ewig Eigentum von Big Tech zu sein, ist dystopisch und deprimierend, auch wenn man das nicht miterleben kann.
