I think the embargo is totally unethical but I don’t want the federal government to stick it’s proverbial dick into the hornet’s nest.

Wouldn’t the US put secondary sanctions on us for doing buisness with Cuba? Anyways I wish the US would just leave Cuba alone. Its not the Cold War anymore and to put starvation tariffs is just cruel.

For decades Canadians have used Cuba as our vacation playground. In their time of need, we have a moral obligation to support them, even if that means provoking an American response. (and anyway, the colour of Carney’s tie could set them off just as easily on any given day).

What a terrible idea and I know Carney won’t do it. Before we do anything like this we need to ask if it will result in good or bad things happening for Canadians. This will absolutely result in American retaliation and right now we need to focus entirely on improving the lives of Canadians first and foremost.
