In 2019, Worden said her estranged spouse, NASA astronaut Anne McClain, had illegally accessed Worden’s bank account while on the International Space Station.

Worden continued lying to news outlets, even after an internal investigation proved her claims to be false.

Why is Anne McClain’s picture under the headline „woman sentenced to prison“ when it was Summer Worden who was sentenced? Yes, never mind, I know why, some editor figured it would generate more clicks – except only hard-core space fans will recognize her pic or spot the tiny bits of a NASA uniform. More unprincipled AND incompetent media.

Geez, I get so tired of this.

*”In the space criminal justice system, the astronauts are represented by two separate, yet equally important, groups: the space police, who investigate crime; and the space district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories.“*

  4. Anyone else misread this as „lying to law enforcement about space time“?

    No? Just me?

  5. And yet all the people who comnitted perjury are just out there free (fbi director, bondi, etc)

  6. This prompts several questions. Is there an ATM on the ISS? And if there was, what would you spend money on?
