      It’s not feasible because it’s simply not allowed under EU treaties edit to add: as far as EU citizens are concerned)

      We need immigration to support our social security and growth. Luxembourg has plenty of room to grow, theres just no increase in the housing supply because homeowners vote with their wallets. if you take a plane, you can see how much buildable area we have in the country. arguably after 700k, we will have to import water, and we should start to produce our own nuclear energy.

      Sure, if you don’t want Luxembourg to part of the EU. That’ll do miracles for the economy, it’s not like Luxembourg depends on the membership in any way.

      But worry not, your successive governments have already implemented this in a roundabout way by making sure that there is an insufficient amount of housing available. Unfortunately, that has meant that some nationals have had to move abroad while others have gotten enormously rich.
