      I appreciate that people are donating to the family, but some of these celebrities should consider refraining from showing the dollar amount.

      I truly believe there are very famous friends and former colleagues who have donated significant money and have stayed quiet about it.  Good for them I suppose

      Even a rich celebrity family living in a multi million dollar ranch will go broke because of America’s health care system. That’s the real story here . What chance do the rest of us have?

      25k is probably the limit for the person that is in charge of that for Spielberg.

      Honestly, tax the super rich so we can have universal healthcare. Nice of him to donate, I guess, but I wish it were irrelevant because people didn’t have to rely on charity to address an illness. I wish no ill will on Van Der Beek’s family, but people go bankrupt from medical debt all the time. His family isn’t special in that regard, they’re just famous.
