I imagine most will not need to read the article to work out what side of the argument the Dad was on.
„Police in the town investigated the 23-year-old’s death as possible manslaughter but no criminal case was brought against Kris Harrison after a grand jury in Collin County declined to indict him.“
Even in TX this seems implausible. There’s a lot of information missing from that article.
Shame that we let politics divide families like this. See people cutting off family and friends for not believing in the same ideologies as them all the time
„“How would you feel if I was the girl in that situation and I’d been sexually assaulted?“
Kris Harrison had replied that he had two other daughters who lived with him so it would not upset him that much.“
I mean it goes without saying, since he murdered his own daughter because she insulted Trump. But this guy is an utter cunt.
The fact her dad is just living his life free is madness, I hope he’s haunted every day until he shuffles off this mortal coil.
I don’t understand the decision not to indict him. It seems pretty open-shut.
The father’s statement to the court:
>He said: „As I lifted the gun to show her I suddenly heard a loud bang. I did not understand what had happened. Lucy immediately fell.“*
>Harrison said he could not recall whether his finger was on the trigger.
>He acknowledged he had issues with alcohol in the past and said he „briefly lapsed“ on the day of his daughter’s death because he was emotional about her leaving.
I’d rather live in a country where shooting your daughter to death has legal consequences.
So, as a British citizen, I can educate this yank on gun safety
>Harrison said he could not recall whether his finger was on the trigger.
First, he had his finger on the trigger. Being a Glock, it’s highly unlikely it would accidentally misfire.
That’s his first mistake, you would think a „guns are muh right“ guy from Texas would know this.
Second, why was it loaded?
Third, why was it racked?
Forth, why was the safety off?
Fifth, why was it pointed at her?
That’s not manslaughter, it’s first degree murder.
>“How would you feel if I was the girl in that situation and I’d been sexually assaulted?“

Book this prick. But, America, I’m sure she was a radical violent leftie and hell get a go fund me for a million
As a Texas woman living in the UK, please don’t send me back. My trump crazy dad also disowned me over politics.
On what fucking planet is this manslaughter? The cunt relapsed
What da hell is a polar bear doing in Arlington Texas
> relapsed on the day of the shooting and had drunk about 500ml of white wine.
I can’t tell if the 500ml is being used to demonstrate „a lot of wine“ or that describing it as „two large glasses of wine from a pub“ makes it seem very little.
> The inquest also heard how Kris Harrison, who moved to the United States when his daughter was a child, had previously been to rehab for alcohol addiction.
I’m genuinely curious how her father was even able to emigrate to the US. They generally don’t roll out the red carpet out for pissheads with low impulse control.
Reading the comment it’s kind of shocking how normal everyone is acting with the „accidental“ discharge of a firearm.
Am I the only one horrified by the though of a firearm being pointed at someone as if it’s a normal thing?
The best thing about this story is that we all know which side the dad was on purely because he’s the one who committed the crime.
I wonder if they even checked that there was a piece on gun crime during that time. Gun-owning, Trump-supporting Texan is going to mean a fairly limited number of stations he’s likely to have had on even if he suddenly couldn’t remember.
“I bought this gun to protect my family and if they don’t like it, I’ll shoot them dead.”
Without reading the story, based purely on my biased stereotypical views, I’m gonna guess the victim was anti-trump and the shooter pro trump.
Am I close?
