Hundreds of users were given 2,000 BTC. Unclear if per person or total.

My brain is having a hard time processing just how fucked Bithumb is. Obviously lots of users who received the „prize“ sold and caused Bithumb to crash especially low on their platform. Accounts can probably be locked account ledgers can be reset for those that didn’t touch the funds, but depending on how much Bitcoin was withdrawn as a result of this issue. Bithumb might be in serious trouble, not sure how much their Bitcoin is now unbacked paper bitcoin.

Edit: The way the post is worded it makes it sound like each of the hundreds would of received the 2000 bitcoin reward. But later on it says total was 2000 Bitcoin.
