      This looks more like Russia “I have no friends, i simply have acquaintances that arent enemies…” considering the highest number is less then 1/3rd of the respondents considering any country a “Friend”.

      The numbers for each country do not add to 100. Does that mean that any delta for each country is people with no opinion, i.e. 62% see Poland as an enemy, 2% see Poland as a friend, and 36% have no opinion as to whether Poland is enemy or friend?

      Not particularly proud of how small the USA’s red bar is. Wasn’t it just 30-ish years ago where there was like a global power struggle over the control and proliferation of terrible world-ending weapons? It had a name like… cold something. /s

      TBH, from personal experience, I don’t believe the Russians perceive China as a friend. The distrust runs deep, they simply have to cuddle together at this moment in history.

      It’s so interesting how uniform the opinions are. For other nations taking the survey, you’ll get some countries that are relatively unanimous, but much more variety of beliefs.

      I get thats the effect of authoritarianism

      Surveys like this are highly biased. Folks repeat what propaganda says to be safe.

      North Korean military helped liberating part of Kursk region (that according to international law belongs to Russia but was invaded by „we are not like russians we dont need any foreign territory“ people). So its strange that only 28% consider North Korea as friend, should be a lot more. And yes, I now living in North Korea is hard and many usual things are prohibited there but it does not cancel the fact of North Korea helping Russia a lot.

      Venezuela probably went from green to red recently. Iran may be following suit.
