Russians only understand force. The only way you get them to stop is by sinking the next one. They hurl themselves about making menacing noises, but ultimately they wont do anything because they know what they’re doing is wrong.

Actual question: Could we, as western society, entirely cutoff all access to western sites, all of the sites, as a feasible and practical response? Would and could this be possible?

This is why investing in Kraken Robotics makes sense. People are going to pay for naval drones to protect these cables.

Trump would love his own 1999 Apartment Bombings like Putin did.

I’ve long suspected that he’s trying to get one of his dictator buddies to attack us right before the midterms so he can claim it’s an act of war.

  8. We’re at war. Nobody wants to say it but we’ve been at war for years. Or decades, even.

That’s the nature of the beast. Us and rf greed, corruption and bullying. Only way forward is a euro army, or proper united Europe and supporting allies showing a united defiance.

I believe China and Russia are both going to continue using this tactic as a tacit show of force and we unfortunately do not have a good counter aside from essentially guarding these areas continuously.
