Dabei handelt es sich um einen Mechanismus, bei dem bei der Abschiebung eines Ausländers der geplante Zeitpunkt der Abschiebung dem Anwalt, der als Vertreter der Person fungiert, in der Regel etwa zwei Monate im Voraus mitgeteilt wird.

This policy change seems like an entirely reasonable step. If someone is being forcibly deported, that already means they are clearly in the country illegally. Telling such a person in advance that they will be deported would only give them a chance to flee. In fact, this change appears to have been made because there were real cases where people ran away after receiving notice.
