These tunnels will be quite intracite by summer and it will become russia’s vietnam.
It seems like this war is fully embracing World War 1. Well, I guess it’s logical with almost frozen frontlines.

IDK. Those straight lines and/or very gentle curves will be a funnel for shrapnel once the roof is breached. Trenches need significant changes in direction, every so many meters, to prevent that

Why do I feel like I suddenly understand the true purpose of The Boring Company? He expanded into military zones with Starlink already, what’s to stop him from accepting international military contracts for bunkers and tunnels? If you bore from a single starting point no one other than insiders will know the plans for the tunnels you build or where they might lead. I think people are massively underestimating the his plans. Who knows, maybe I’m a conspiracy nut, but I personally think The Boring Company is secretly a behemoth war machine hiding in wait for the opportune moment.
