„Due to sluggish domestic demand, annual industrial production last year increased by only 0.5%, marking the lowest growth rate in five years. Despite the implementation of high-intensity domestic demand stimulation measures, such as distributing consumption coupons worth 13 trillion Korean won under expansionary fiscal policies following the launch of the new government in June of last year, there were limitations in fully recovering the contracted economy.“

Ya cause the US has been sucking us dry for like 5 straight years. We’ve been dealing with Biden’s IRA and semiconductor rip off, now Trump’s cartel.

People think Trump is bad but Biden is the one who sucked out the EV battery factories + EV metaplant + Samsung’s Taylor Fab from Korea to the US. We were the largest job creators in the US by absolute number in 2024.

  3. DW, once the Yongin semiconductor cluster and SK Hynix’s fabs are up and running, and Ulsan’s EV cluster and Hyundai’s robot foundry plants are running, we’ll leave the West in the dust when it comes to advanced manufacturing

No more charities for the West
