      Well, the overwhelming majority of immigrants in Spain, especially illegal immigrants, come from Latin America, and Spaniards view Latin Americans favorably because they perceive them as culturally similar to their own. Spain even lobbied for visa-free access to Latin American countries like Venezuela and Colombia, despite them being sources of irregular migration.

      I have a very strong feeling that this is only going to lead to the PP having more & stronger triumphs while VOX gets increasingly stronger, more mainstream, & closer to one day having government power itself.

      Good. People against this are as i see mostly irrational. The only big problem with this policy is housing, but current housing problems are going to be a child’s play compared to Europe’s future when our demographics will no longer be able to sustain us. It’s impossible to understate how dangerous and unexplored territory hyper-aged societies are, but it’s pretty much impossible to make them sound like a good thing, and nobody even bothers to try, they just try to pretend it won’t happen or that the rich will suddenly share all their wealth with us plebs (and even that wouldn’t be enough, anyway). So, stuff like this helps to keep that away that much longer. Good for Spain.

      For how much this sub shits on Americans for electing Trump, too, Americans are way more pro-migration and [see stuff like this as good for their country](https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/11/22/most-americans-say-undocumented-immigrants-should-be-able-to-stay-legally-under-certain-conditions/), hell quite a few of them want borderline open borders and don’t care even about the Somali frauds and such. And they don’t even have near as bad of a demographic situation + weaker labour laws that allow more abuse. Never saw a good explanation for this.
