The white police officer who murdered a black woman after she called police for help revealed he has stage 3 and 4 cancer in multiple organs during his sentencing hearing.
Sean Grayson, 31, was found guilty in October of shooting Sonya Massey to death inside her Springfield, Illinois, home in July 2024.
During his sentencing hearing on Thursday, Grayson’s defense attorney Mark Wykoff asked the judge to consider giving his client probation because of his deteriorating health.
