From the independent article about this:

“On Thursday, the youth, who was 14 at the time of the killing and is now 15, also admitted two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to previous attacks on separate victims, as well as having a bladed article on the day he killed Leo.”

    They were all old ladies.

  2. A random brutal murder, once this trial has ended, only a lifetime imprisonment will do it.

12 years old – absolutely tragic. Hits home for me personally as that’s the same age as one of my children.

  4. The likely starting point for the minimum period for this offence – if he took the knife to the scene with the intent of using it for a weapon – is 13 years per s127 of the Police, Crime, Courts and Sentencing Act 2022 as he was fourteen at the time of the offence and it appears to fall within the scope of paragraph 4(1) of Schedule 21 of the Sentencing Act 2020 were he over eighteen at the time of the offence.

Not making comment on whether it’s an appropriate amount of time to spend incarcerated for this crime but rather just saying what the law appears to be…

This is the kind of psychopath that needs to be put in a box for the rest of his life with no possibility of ever re-entering society.

In the article it also says he previously attacked three different elderly women, pushing them to the ground and hitting them.

His life should be forfeit as far as I am concerned.

He’ll be out as soon as he’s an adult with an exorbitant amount of money spent to try and reintegrate him back into society…

  7. The most terrifying attacks are the ‚unprovoked, at random‘ – like how do you go about your day and do anything to try and avoid this happening?

Of course they can’t be named….. name and shame, that should make some others think twice about killing someone else.

  9. Articles like these are always depressing, but becoming a parent makes this hit so much harder

„Investigators also discovered that the killer opted to hang around to talk to officers at the murder scene“

    Straight up psycho.
