  1. well, you know, they say that but then my shipment to china gets 4 months delayed because a guy from lithuania said taiwan exists.

A realignment seems imminent. Leaders flocking to China in the past two months:

    Macron 🇫🇷

    Carney 🇨🇦

    Starmer 🇬🇧

    Orpo 🇫🇮

    Martin 🇮🇪

Not to mention the many visits by foreign ministers. Europe should federalise and engage China from a position of power! Both Europe and China have a common interest to partition Russia.

  3. They Are playing some game here. And I can’t even blame them trying given the US is dead set to destroy Transatlantic relations.

Next cycle of inflation on the way this year. EU & friends will need those China trade links.

  5. I don’t think so.
    Europe likes status quo.
China wants dominance, because they were dominant nation for centuries in the past.
It is a foundation for competition, rather than partnership.

This is outrageous! We are in a conflict between democracy and autocracy! This is an insult to Nancy Pelosi who went to Taiwan to defend against Chinese autocracy! Finland has just joined NATO and this is proof that NATO can and will defeat Russia and China simultaneously!

Outwardly China is signalling better than America on many of the things America claimed it stood for.

America now has a bunch of high school losers roleplaying as Nazis to distract while they and their rich mates rob people blind and they burn down almost every hard earned bridge of friendship around the world.

    Big W for China.

If this would only make electric chinese cars cheaper here.

I’ll probably end up importing one eventually since it simply ends up cheaper that way (roughly half the price), rather than buying the same car locally.

While I would like to support European cars, they’re simply too expensive for what they offer. Cars in general have drastically increased in price the last few years and the used market became the same.

The US propaganda curtain is falling. All while more and more info coming that China is not the doom and gloom that we were fed.

    Partners my a**

    China is:

    – Trying to destroy our key industries by price dumping, IP theft and plagiarism, unfair trade practices
    – Supporting Russia, the nation that killed more Europeans than any other nation since WW2
    – buying corrupt politicians in Europe to undermine unity and democracy
    – Feeding us brain rot and misinformation via TikTok (an app that is forbidden in China)
    – doing everything to undermine the international order that guarantees freedom and peace, also for smaller nations

China only cares about China and nobody can ever be an equal partner to China.

  11. China is an oppressive communist state, that threatens or controls other nations.

Still, USA with its actions seems to want us to work with them.

  12. I feel like maintaining strong economic relations with China make a lot sense these days, especially considering the US looks like it can shit the bed on any given day, including Sunday.

I would only hope that we don’t become overly reliant on them as our main trading partner because while they have always been a far more predictable quantity than the US is now, they are also not above bullying or threatening others if they feel it benefits them.

Have people read the Security Strategy 🇺🇸? Americans see Europe as an adversary and are working with Moscow to dismantle us.

Not even China is doing that. Washington is the enemy.

  14. Neither China nor the EU really have a lot of choice, we *have* to become (trading) partners because of what the US is doing. Let’s see if it can be made to work well despite the differences.

We could be much more better friends even. Please… China… chancel your Ex-girlfriend Russia… she is secretly killing us Europeans daily for years now.

The EU is never gonna believe China is sincere about that as long as China keeps funding Putin’s war in Ukraine.

  17. The China deal looks a lot like the Russian deal in early 2000. Trying to make them more aligned and integrated through trade.

Russia (and now US) saw leverage to be used and it backfired. China has more interest to have trade flowing but some lessons need to be learnt. No point finally getting read of US and Russia influence if it is to go all in in China like we went with the other two. Looking at you Germany

Team up with China. Force Russian to lay down arms and oust Putin. Form a Eurasian free trade zone. The Yanks will come crawling on their knees.

  19. As a Brit, I would prefer to do business with China than the US. The US are traitors and deserve to be isolated – isn’t that what they wanted anyway? But, and it’s a big but, China needs to stop helping Russia with their war on Ukraine.

The guy posting this is literally a CCP bot, lmfao. Still I guess nothing come bad out of being pragmatic about it.

Slowly cooking the frog. That is their strategy. They try to do the exact thing US did to EU by making us dependent on them.
