      Rosatom has facilities that are unique in the world, such as the re-enrichment of reprocessed uranium.

      Trade with Rosatom is therefore inevitable.

      Reminder: [France is a net exporter of enriched uranium](https://www.sfen.org/rgn/le-nucleaire-francais-nest-pas-sous-emprise-russe-fact-checking-du-rapport-greenpeace/), it isn’t dependent on Russia. The re-enrichment of [reprocessed uranium](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reprocessed_uranium) is currently outsourced to Russia because there are no enrichment cascades for reprocessed uranium in the civilized world and there also doesn’t seem to be enough demand to justify building one right now. France is focusing on [expanding its capacity to enrich natural uranium](https://www.world-nuclear-news.org/Articles/Orano-to-expand-capacity-of-French-enrichment-plan) instead, because that’s the service other countries want to buy from us, as otherwise they would have to buy it from Russia.

      Sigh. All this finger pointing is utterly counter productive. Whether towards Germany’s continued use of Russian LNG or French still using Russian re-enrichment capacities etc etc.

      Energy resources and needs are notoriously difficult to readjust without causing major economic disruptions. And we’re all trying to diversify so we don’t get leveraged like that ever again.

      Jumping at each other’s throats while throwing accusations of mooching just serves those who want to see us on the menu.

      Hey look, another Anti-French Propaganda has hit r/europe , pretty nice we do need to pour more hate onto them and divide Europe some more afterall. 

      Next we will talk about Germany billion used on Russian gas by saying „Germany bought BILLIONS of gas from Russia!“ and show that nowaday they only buy 4% but still bought a lot so it’s bad!!!! Divide them.
