      I mean if you were a friend of mine, I would give you shit for it. And not for the obvious reason. Also not because it’s just not looking good, but because I would have so many HRE jokes there.

      The few people who may make the connection will just think of it as unusual or that you are a right winger. Racist is a bit of a stretch to make, but the world of today has all kinds of people so idk

      Why should you been seen as a racist?

      There is still an eagle in the German coat of arms, as is in the Polish, the Romanian, Austrian, Russian … In the background of the Bundestag you can see a modern version of the Bundesadler, every coin in Germany has an eagle on the backside, the german football team has an eagle on their trikots… There are many eagles in German federal flags as are in the flags of other countries. The bird in the picture does not look like the bird used by the nazis at all, it hardly resembles the eagle used by the German Emperors – what exactly is your point?

      It clearly depends where you wear this in germany and how much you give a damn about anyones opinion – but that seems out of question

      I’m not German, nor do I live in Germany, so I know I’m not the target audience of this post, but the eagle is still used in German vexillology.
