The reason they are doing it again now is because he has filled every level of the DOJ with sycophants who have loyalty to him and not to the country.

Any findings from this are going to favor trump because that is what he ordered them to find.

This all leads to election interference in the mid-terms. That’s the plan.

This would be a great time for our (former and hopefully again some day) allies to sanction the US for attempting to turn itself into a for real dictatorship. 

Just a suggestion. Not like we have a massive military or nukes or anything that the world at large should be worried about.

Serious question, though I’m not sure quite how to put it, so please indulge me if this is a bit think-out-loud.

This past decade, we’ve seen the „Whee! I’m in a movie!“ pathology playing out among the MAGAS— political theater, cosplay. Their thirst to feel the thrill of being a badass extends all the way to playing the villain, if it’s the villain who gets to have the cool weapon or say the cool line.

Of course I know there’s a not-inconsiderable subset of this crowd which *are* villains— actual Nazis and so forth. Never mind them. Instead focus on those still wearing the red hat because of sunk-cost fallacy, embarrassment to change their positions, or just social inertia.

It seems to me that for them, there’s a cool, movie-approved way to stop being the bad guy: the old „OMG [beloved character] was a villain all along!“ or its relative, „The call is coming from inside the house!“.

In the movies, when this happens, it’s not a soul-searching moment. No one blames the hero for doing an immediate about-face (example: Star-Lord immediately turning on his dad). In fact, if the hero *didn’t* turn they’d be wrong. And in addition to being The Right Thing To Do^TM it also comes with a bonus side of I Was The Victim, which is very popular with that crowd, no?

So if you were with me this long, Reddit, anyone care to muse on the question: Why haven’t we seen this trope taking hold? Was it not yet time?

Maybe it’s starting now. If yes, it should definitely be helped along.

Can’t the Board of elections fight this by claiming harassment given the prior findings.

Are they looking for the other 98% of the epstein files???? Wheres the investigation in that? They care so much about laws.
