  1. France once again showing us how it’s done.

The state should never be exempt from scrutiny and protest when their force results in a death.

    They aren’t entitled to murder

This is how it’s done, immediate action not months later when it finally affects a non minority group

Always have huge respect for the protest culture in Europe overall, they act fast and make sure they are loud about it. Meanwhile other countries try to be as quiet about it to avoid ‚inconvenience‘.

  4. While people talk about France protests unfortunately this is all too common in France with police and minorities and has been for years. Racism is still a big issue there.

  5. See, *this* is the appropriate reaction. When the Americans of Reddit trot out their „well *I* didn’t vote for him“ line, it rings extremely hollow. Where is the US equivalent to this protest? Why is the entire country not in the streets right now? Until there’s some meaningful action being demonstrated, they really are all one and the same.

  6. meanwhile in the US, at least 32 that we know of died in immigration custody last year. They have opened fire on 16 different people and killed 3 US citizens and it took the second US citizen before people started to protest.

The US needs a general strike NOW.
