Afghani civilians weren’t considered as casualties? Or they really this low?

A much better way to plot this would be per capita.

Looks like, according to trump, US has the worst soldiers
Mikes005 on
Per capita would be a better representation i reckon.

Surely it would make more sense to present this data as a proportion rather than absolute figures?

Americans should be super pissed about the idea of going to another pointless yet, but here we are.

Now do friendly fire casualties by nation.

Let’s not forget the first four Canadians killed were on the front line, killed by Americans
Lozsta on
You forgot to count the ones killed by the US. I am pretty sure that a great number of the casualties for the top five there had ones where the US killed them.

Kinda small considering Iran has killed more of its own citizens in the last month.

Huh, that’s weird? I only see half a chart. Strange.

Especially given it came about from US using Article 5 the very least is a per capita graph to really show the sacrifices made by allies in response to an attack on the US.

Just saying, but the Afghans lost at least 60000 soldiers.

About a week late? All this blew up last week and the idiot was immediately proved to be wrong, again.

Why are people not talking about the civilians killed? “No the white people that died are more important”

That 5.4 x the UK loses. Population of 63.4 million in UK, Population in USA 341.8 million. Good effort UK and Bless you all. RIP

turns out reddit DOES understand per capita if it suits them

Wait, so it wasn’t just the US? Interesting

Great, now do per capita. That’s a better way to represent this particular data set.

Adjusted for population the UK is about the same as US. Canada might be above both.

This is biased by the way the different parties of this coalition carried out their military objectives. My father was as a doctor for several times in Afghanistan. He worked together with US soldiers. He summarized it to me, that is GIs were at war while German soldiers thought to be working in a humanitarian mission.

Can we get this per capita?

So all in all, it’s less than a one week casualties for Russia on the front in Ukraine.

I support the agenda with this but it’s not exactly beautiful and % of population would be more meaningful here.

These are *fatalities*, not casualties. Casualties include wounded and the number is far larger.

It would be interesting to see this adjusted for total population size of each country, total military population, and total military spending to get a sense of comparable sacrafice for each scale of country on different metrics.

Now can we see the casualties of people who actually matter (Afghani civilians)
I do not give a solitary fuck about the people who threw themselves into the fire for American geopolitical interests

Trump is right, especially about other nato nations special forces – they stayed back and only watch the action and no other nato soldier was hurt in America’s adventures as plainly the graphic demonstrates.
Thank you for your attention in this matter
