      The world order as we know it has been over every other day for decades now, and somehow it’s always related to an American president violating international law.

      The rules based world order was acceptable to America as long as they had advantage, and benefited them, they were okay with it as long as they were winning.

      But when others started winning under the same rules based world order , the US suddenly no longer wants to play by the rules or by the same rules.

      It is using hard power to bully everyone including it’s allies to sign not only favourable deals but seek control over their foreign policy and sovereignty with a gun pointed on their head .

      Venezuela’s takeover was the sign of US desperation trying to take control of resources and territory because they can no longer do it with diplomacy and international framework.

      It was a message and a sign that US has started losing and it will break the international rules and laws and use hard power to get what they want , whenever they want .

      World order was anything but a state of anarchy.

      Sure, the cute things you say make sense in a world without tactical nuclear weapons.

      But in a world with an international order that exists in a state of anarchy, when at least 9 nations have a tactical nuclear option, pray your cute versions of international relations hold or at least that you don’t witness the end of almost all life on earth.

      We can accidentally bathe the surface of the earth in the energy of more than 10,000 suns, and now that the world order is all but gone, we are even closer to that possibility.

      It’s interesting to me the reaction this post got. Can’t tell if it’s just keyboard warriors going after purposely low hanging fruit or something else I am missing about Reddit culture.

      Serious question though, Do you think anyone cares about the threat of nuclear war as much as they should? Should they care at all?
