      So what should have happened the minute after the shooting. they should have said „Agent have been put on administrative leave pending an investigation“ That should have been the bare minimum done that day.

      Administrative leave is way too kind of a punishment. Heck, I’d even saying losing their job is too kind too. How about a life sentence in super max? Either way, they deserve a harsh punishment.

      For those of you who want to know how a real professional officer handles a takedown without executing the suspect, take the case of Alek Minassian who ran his van over a crowd in Toronto.

      Officer Lam without backup confronted Minassian and ordered him to get down. He then turned off the siren in his car so that he could be heard. When he realized that the man was not brandishing a gun, he holstered his and took out a baton. The man surrendered immediately. No shots fired. Total time – 37 seconds.
