      Trump doesn’t have a clue how traumatic it will be for gun nuts to go grocery shopping without their security blanket. They might have to bring a doll, or a pacifier.

      They’ll verify it from the voter roles that states are turning over.

      Your state isn’t turning over voter roles? No verification = no gun.

      The vocal 2A crowd will love the lib pwning.

      He’s not wrong, but the way he got there is both unsurprising and completely fucked. The right wing loves them some guns until they realize gun rights go both ways.

      ETA: They also love to trot out the Gadsen flag and cute libertarian slogans until they realize that goes both ways too. Really, they just want to be the ones with guns and boots.

      Look up „god-king“. One important component of rule by a god-king is the spectacle of public human sacrifice. This establishes the exclusive right of the king to murder his own citizens. We are nearing a tipping-point. If Congress doesn’t win majorities in both houses after these public murders, which will continue until the mid-term election, then there will be no further elections. Confiscating our guns will be essential to holding power.

      The Authoritarian has no principals. They will take away rights and break any laws to benefit them. In his mind: we have the 1A, as long as it benefits him. We have the 2A, as long as it benefits him. We have the 4A, as long as it benefits him. Etc. As soon as our rights are used against him, then he will want to take them away.       It’s so incredibly on brand of him to stumble across a good idea but only because of the most fucked up reason imaginable. Not because of all the kids killed in school shootings. Not because of all of the political violence he is instigating, but because someone brought a gun to a protest and his SS agents shot him for it and he’s looking for an excuse to weasel out of responsibility for the murder.

      The right for a long time had this fantasy that they were the ones who were armed and the left were a bunch of wimps who feared guns. They’re realizing that’s just not true, especially in the Midwest and their little hobby of taking firearms to protests now isn’t exclusive.

      I live in the reddest state. WY. Where everyone loves guns. They conceal carry. It’s there life. I have listened to conversations for years.

      Today, at work everyone is talking about how the nurse in Minneapolis should not have been concealed carrying at a protest. How he was looking for trouble. I don’t think the outrage is real. They will Literally believe what they are told by Fox News.

      I fully support restricting the ability for white males to own guns. You know, the same demographic responsible for most of the terrorist activities the last few decades. This includes ICE and Police forces.

      At the very least ban ICE from carrying firearms in public.

      They have shown that they are not competent enough to safely handle them around people without carrying out mass acts of Domestic Terrorism.
