      But they are so brave that they’ll use a gun to defend themselves?

      Does this seem like a contradiction to anyone else?

      Unlike in Ontario in BC the Crown reviews all of the police’s charging decisions and somehow this generates much fewer ridiculous media cases about home owners being charged with attacking intruders. I’d note there isn’t any homeowner claiming self defence involved in any of these cases.
