    Always bugged me that a lot of the biggest companies are banks. Like the companies for handling the money keep a hell of a lot of the money. Other companies are mining stuff, inventing stuff, building stuff. Not the banks. Huge companies and they are just middlemen.

    As of yesterday, BHP overtook the Commonwealth Bank to become Australia’s largest company 

    „During trading on Tuesday, as BHP shares rose strongly, the miner’s market value rose above that of the banking giant. BHP shares rose as much as 3.4 per cent during the session, taking its market capitalisation above $253 billion, eclipsing the market value of CBA.“

  5. Europe issue aside consider adding color codes for the respective industries (tech/finance/fossil/etc) to add a bit more useful data

    Europe should be EU if you want to separate out the UK like that

    Either have Nvidia go off the chart or use a log scale or something, so many of the ‘bars’ become nothing more than dots. On that note maybe make them propper rectangles instead of having the rounded edges to give more visual clarity
