Yes, it was devastating that Poland was given to Stalin. It was unfair; we received financial aid from the Soviets, which took 50 years to repay, instead of reparations from Germany, but it is in the past. It was said 100 times: we will not get repatriations. Let’s focus on the future, shall we?

Polska powinna siedzieć cicho , bo było by niefajnie gdyby Niemcy poprosili o Wrocław a Ukraince o Przemyśl .
Teraz to dupa zimna .

How much Germany paid in eu funding ?

PiS supporters do not understand that reparations should be claimed from Moscow, not Berlin. Unless, of course, they accept the version that Poland was independent in 1953 and voluntarily waived further claims.

in 1953 PRL goverment said they want no reparations from germany, so let’s beg germany for them now in 2026 when pretty much all people responsible for ww2 are dead

It’s astonishing how someone can remain so locked in the past – especially a past they weren’t even alive to see. Just imagine what could be achieved if all that energy were focused on building something meaningful for the future. Instead, they just keep repeating themselves. I’ve been hearing the same thing for 25 years now. How do they not hear what I’m hearing? How they don’t see the money indirectly flown from Germany into Poland through EU funds? Do they remember Poland from 30 years ago? Look around. What do you see? Who helped us achieve all of that?
War is a terrible thing. This man should focus on preventing a new one from taking hold today, rather than obsessing over history. Leave that to the historians, Mr. President.
