Not a good look attacking the victim, but here they go again. If anyone needs more proof that Trump is just going to keep going here is the first indication.
No one cares. That’s no excuse to execute someone in the street.
Brave man. They broke his rib and he continued to be a witness.
So they murdered him
So this actually says more about ice than about Pretti, not that you’d know it from the terrible headline:
“The earlier incident started when he stopped his car after observing ICE agents chasing what he described as a family on foot, and began shouting and blowing his whistle, according to a source who asked not to be named out of fear of retribution.
Pretti later told the source that five agents tackled him and one leaned on his back – an encounter that left him with a broken rib. The agents quickly released him at the scene.”
The bottom line is that this man was the subject of excessive and unnecessary force by federal agents already once before they executed him.
Looks like the Trump administration is trying to smear another victim of their brutality.
So he survived one attack from these masked cowards and still went out there to defend his neighbors. That’s John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, John Wick type stuff. An actual real life „alpha.“
Pretti isn’t a coward and continued to resist ICE intimidation. Fuck ice.

This matches with a lot of other reporting (The ‚we have a database and you are now a domestic terrorist‘ comment).
The Trump admin is working extremely hard to create a database of people who oppose him in any way.
Nothing good can come from this.

Assaulted for being a witness and making noise. Purely speculative from here on out – but wanna bet one of those agents from that encounter were involved in his death and that they wanted to ‚teach him a lesson‘ about getting in their way and were angry he wasn’t intimidated?

Alex Pretti is a national hero and he should be mourned and remembered as such.
So this execution could of been pre-meditated ?
They maybe even knew exactly who he was from their palantir based facial recognition tools.
What a god damn hero. An indomitable spirit of goodness, couldn’t be broken and they killed him for it.
What an obvious attempt to change the narrative. Same old playbook, challenge and slowly attack the character of the victim. How about we get the names of the shooter and the guys who held him down while he was shot. Let’s get a look into their past.

As an aside, fuck CNN for repeatedly referring to “agitators”. ICE are the fucking agitators.
God forbid the agents involved in his murder were present at this first attack.
That’s what we’d call motive.
The headline seems to be intentionally obscuring who assaulted whom.

The agent in gray jacket ran up during the scuffle with him and leaned in to take the pistol in real time as it was happening. Not the officers with hands on him. None of the other agents even reacted to him so they expected it.
This has always made me wonder why?
How did he know to run in and that he had one within seconds of this going on? Why was he even there and ready to do that? That is a not a natural play of events in disarming someone. That was practiced beforehand.
There is no way unless they knew he had a gun beforehand and had been surveilling him prior to the altercation. That would go a long way to explaining why it occurred this way.

So, he was targeted. That is why we see an ICE goon clap his hands after the execution.
The plan : 1) identify legal observers ( protesters) or any individual who opposes the current government – label as domestic terrorist, 2) obtain voting roles 3) match the lists, 4) remove voting rights from this cohort 5) win election by attrition .
I’m in St. Paul, and the agitator/ observer designation is alarming. The reason we’ve taken to the streets is that they’re kidnapping nonviolent immigrants, people who are here legally, and basically anyone who is black or brown. In some cases they’re entering homes without judicial warrants. This is all morally wrong, and they’re terrorizing people across the metro, but we’re pretty sure what they’re doing is illegal. Alex’s actions and the video from so many on the scene of his shooting just prove that. The administration is lying about what happened here, and the only reason Bovino and Noem are in trouble is that they’re terrorizing people and got caught in a lie. It’s a PR problem for them. This isn’t a solution.
We’re going to continue to follow them to make sure our neighbors aren’t disappeared without due process, that their homes aren’t broken into, and that they aren’t assaulted on our streets. We’re going to continue until the ICE policy doesn’t advocate for illegality and isn’t driven by a quota. “Don’t watch us while we do heinous shit in your neighborhood” is not a legal justification.
The only thing that matters is what happened in the minutes before he was executed. The rest is distraction.
Can’t wait for Fox and NewsMax to dig up this guy’s past and find out he had unpaid parking tickets, thereby completely justifying a public execution.

Yeah, we see what you did there. Alex didn’t do the breaking. Federal agents weren’t some third party that just happen to be there _with_ him.
You mean federal agents were using excessive force on him before? This keeps getting worse for the administration. I hope you’re not going to tell me the ones that shot him were the same ones that were present at his rib cracking. That would look really bad for those agents.
My initial discernment.
The ’source‘ is relaying what Pretti allegedly told them. This is convenient because Pretti cannot confirm or deny.
The source says he stopped his car and began blowing whistles and shouting. Then…magically….with no other context. 5 agents got on him and broke his ribs but then also just let him go. It would make a better story if it had more detail.
The story lines up with the narrative that Pretti was previously engaged with ICE, and that MUST be the reason he brought his gun and ‚extra‘ ammo to the day he was murdered. Because he was looking for retribution.
Beware any media that speaks in these broad, vague terms about where they got their information. If it reads like a middle schooler’s creative writing assignment…..then likely it was made up.
This guy never even WENT for his gun. Lots of responsible owners carry in MN…..the self defense laws there are VERY strict…. They are still crafting the story on this guy in front of our eyes and unfortunately, collectively we are still looking at the news media as ‚legitimate sources of information‘.
Sounds like motive for murder by out of control ICE officers if the agents who previously assaulted him were present and aware of his identity at the shooting scene.

He was tackled to the ground by 5 ICE agents, breaking his rib. Then he was in fact released, because he did nothing illegal.
The two very public executions are just the tip of the iceberg.

People, be mindful of the words they use to describe events. It is little things that make big things. Changing „he broke his rib“ to „he had his rib broken“ makes the event more clear. Sets the scene more accurately. Tells the truth.
Also, Mr. Pretti was not „killed,“ he was murdered. Another little change that is meant to diminish this event and his death. Don’t allow it.

The fact that a pack of masked ICE agents pepper sprayed, beat down, disarmed, and murdered a guy doesn’t change because that same guy got injured a week before

keep trying to throw dirt on a VA NURSE.
If we ever found out the identities of the two chuds that magdumped him in the street and it turns out that they are ex military who are eligible for coverage by the VA I hope every last nurse insists that they have a catheter put in for every appointment and schedule them for monthly colonoscopies.
Would be curious to see if any of the ICE goons from encounter #1 were involved in encounter #2

As someone has broken a rib, I am highly skeptical that he would be moving like he was in the video, a week after breaking a rib. It’s painful to even breath with a broken rib.
So he’d already been beaten and injured once by ICE, and yet STILL put himself between the ICE thugs and the woman they were assaulting. Sounds like a hero to me.
