      A federal agent shoves a woman to the ground. A young man walks over to help her up. Then the agent pepper-sprays them both.

      Despite the burning in his eyes, the young man keeps trying to get the woman upright — until a pack of masked, camouflaged officers wrestle him to the street.

      They beat him. He writhes in pain. An agent realizes that he has a firearm holstered on his waist and confiscates it. Someone shouts, “Gun.” An officer fires a shot into the young man’s back — then keeps firing as he collapses. Now, a second agent is firing too. Bullet after bullet into a motionless body. Screams from bystanders as the whole world shakes.

      This is what nearly everyone with eyes and an internet connection saw Saturday, when Border Patrol agents [gunned down 37-year-old Alex Pretti](https://www.vox.com/policy/476397/minneapolis-alex-pretti-ice-cbp-killing-shooting-video) in Minneapolis.

      The ICU nurse’s final moments were [caught on multiple cellphone videos](https://www.nytimes.com/2026/01/24/us/minneapolis-shooting-federal-agents-video.html), each depicting one of the most horrifying “officer-involved” shootings of an era that’s seen plenty, including ICE’s killing of [Renee Good](https://www.vox.com/politics/474637/ice-shooting-minnesota-renee-nicole-good-trump) in the same city, less than three weeks earlier.

      Nevertheless, administration officials chose to defend the government’s killing of a US citizen with incendiary lies.

      First of all.. Fuck your paywall and fake headline. Secondly in no way did they admit they lied. They’re doing damage control and will lie exactly as much as they think they can get away with. They’re not even yet disagreeing with what Barbie and Ka$h said, just that they’re not saying anything yet. Their game is to wait until it blows over before they say anything when it comes to this.

      The closest this „journalist“ comes to saying what the headline lies about is this, because fuck your paywall.

      They lied and are lying and it’s clear as day.

      Why is it noteworthy that they’ve admitted it (even though they haven’t)?

      They prematurely tried to spin a narrative, and it failed. It looks very bad on them to blatantly lie when there is video evidence of what happened. I know some Trump voters who are appalled by it. Hopefully it opens their minds to this.

      But some things shouldn’t be forgiven and forgotten. Throwing the constitution out of the window and publicly defaming an innocent man are two such things.

      Well now that the administration is admitting they can’t be trusted on this stuff, it’s time to open an investigation into the killing of Renee Good. The ones who destroyed evidence should also be held accountable

      Pretti’s family should sue Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Bovino for exactly ICE’s total budget.

      Defund ICE and make these three lying criminals be accountable.

      Impeach and remove Trump.

      If the admin admits to lying about the federal execution of an innocent civilian exercising their 1st and 2nd amendment rights on a US street (which is EXACTLY what happened)…..then they all need to be impeached immediately. Regardless of party, regardless of previous good or bad, this is a singularly unforgivable act and they ALL need to go. Dont get it twisted: FUCK THE CHEETO AND HIS MAGA BITCHES FOR EVERY SINGLE BIT OF THEIR 5(9) YEARS…..but **this** cannot be brushed aside as a ‚good development‘
