Because she came to know her party elders got offended and LDP seems divided atm

The lady sees the writing on the wall. After pushing out Ishiba due to the election loss, she should stand by the same principle. But the LDP sure knows how to disappoint, no change there.

      weakest PM ever

      truly a Truss

Will she also have the shortest time in office just like Truss who destroyed the UK’s economy after only, what, 3 months in office?

According to the law sites I’ve been looking at since this started (to figure out their system), does she actually even have a choice?

From what I could tell, part of the process of the dissolution is that if the PM’s party isn’t reelected the majority, the PM and whole cabinet is out of a job and the new majority leader and their people step in.

    5. I mean fact is LDP already has the majority with Ishiba, and it’s not even difficult to get the majority given how weak the oppositions are.

This dissolution would only make sense if she wants to get 2/3, but I don’t think it would be THAT much of a landslide. I think she got too cocky and overestimated her popularity and the staying power of the voters.
