  1. I wish the Himalayas weren’t there so I could experience the snow too in my city

  2. In Europe, temperature anomaly is within few degrees, so that’s just normal winter weather here.

  3. It was 49° C today where I live.

Please stop hogging the cool weather and send some of it our way!

    Sincerely,
    Australia.

Winter weather? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the world? Localised entirely within the Northern Hemisphere?

That’s because it’s winter in the north…. Tilted planets do this

  6. I love in Holland, crazy to think it’s the same temperature in south Pakistan and north Thailand

Looks like ice age. Heat on Africa matches the desert scorch. Yep, looks like winter.

  8. I live in the lighest shade in Norway, and we haven’t had snow for weeks (if you look carefully, you can see a few green pixels in the south-west)

This is concerning. This is because climate change has severely weakened the polar jet currents and caused polar winds to slide further south. And they have gotten much weaker than we initially predicted meaning our current models are becoming unable to predict how bad its gonna get.

  11. Where do you think the equator is? No where close to the “entire northern part”.

Pedants will point out you said part – not half – but really it’s ALWAYS frigid cold in the entire northern “part” of the world if you define the size of a part to be the coldest bits.
