I am genuinely baffled that people will see stuff like this and somehow find a way to justify it. Pride is one hell of a drug.

  2. These Trumps psychopaths better hope and pray Orange Nero doesn’t drop dead from heart disease before he’s able to pardon them.

That’s why it doesn’t matter who they change out or whatever. This is MAGA. This is who they are. This is why you never give them an ounce of power.

    Ever.

Man did we royally screw ourselves.

  4. I hope at some point we get a Dem administration and with it comes an AG that is not as weak kneed and useless as Garland. First day in office they should subpoena the shit out of these MFrs

Stein voters hated Harris so much that they wanted this to happen to us

Lawyer up and hit hardware reset on life, mate. Ain’t no reset button in a story like this.

“One agent took a photo of me and showed it to the others, laughing. Another called me ugly. His colleague, apparently referring to Renee Good, said, “You guys gotta stop obstructing us – that’s why that lesbian b—- is dead.”

On my way to that cell, I passed holding cells filled with people who appeared to be of Latino and East African descent. The despondent faces and the screaming, wailing and pleading from these men, women and children – reportedly as young as 5 years old – will forever haunt me. But perhaps more haunting still was the sound of agents nearby laughing. Are our lives all just a joke to them?”

Is the federal government going to be dishing out on lawsuit settlements for the next 10 years or what?

One starting point is Congressmen need to go inspect these ICE facilities. Back them with the National Guard and local police. If they are denied entry, that is obstruction of Congress. Immediately arrest anyone who obstructs, and charge them with state charges.

It doesn’t take much to be evil. It just takes being pathetic and small. Only those sorts of people abuse the tiniest bit of power they can grab immediately.

Such a compelling account! Thank you for articulating you experiences so effectively!

  13. Who is paying for all these car windows ICE goons are breaking without cause? I know it’s a very minor question but they should be paying for all these car windows and front doors they are breaking. A lot of people injured by them too, can people sue the govt for medical costs?

Why is this labeled an opinion piece if they’re reporting what they witnessed in the camps? Why wouldn’t they make an official report on this?

We will have investigations and there will be justice. Accept nothing less than Nuremberg 2.0.

  16. This is how they see us.

This is how they see Immigrants. How they See Black, Brown, Yellow and Native people. This is how they see the population of leftist states. As stupid, pathetic, and undeserving of basic respect or human rights. Annoying peons who are to be dismissed, with malice and brutishness whenever possible. Who they have the God given right to trample upon, beat, rape, and murder.

I will never forget what ICE did here in my city. Or the many other cities unfortunate to have them. Not only the Murders of our neighbors, but the numerous other brutal crimes and the callousness they showed to our friends, families, and children. Their deeds will haunt them for the rest of their lives. They will become the great shame their grandchildren only whisper about in hushed tones.

Inshaallah, when the day comes when we have our day in court, when we get them to stand before their misdeeds in the light of truth, without their leaders, without their guns, without their families too ashamed to attend the proceedings; I will relish seeing them beg for sympathy. Beg for a reprieve, or smidge of empathy for their poor souls as we read them their fates.

We the people can remind them they gave none to us and so they shall receive none.

I remember when the 2024 election results came in and conservatives couldn’t understand the deep emotional response liberals were having, why we were literally crying and mourning. This is why. Because we knew the cruelty that would happen in the near future, how much suffering others would go through at the hand of this administration. It is a matter of life and death for many and we knew that.

  18. And you would think Guantanamo was a low point of US history. This is going to take a long, long time to heal.

A massive class action lawsuit needs to be brought against ICE, Kristi Noem, and the Trump regime for this shit. They are violating half the bill of rights whenever they do this. This is the best way to hold them accountable now until their Nuremburg trials can be held.
