    >The decline in the number of births should be seen in connection with the ‚gender divergence‘ between increasingly progressive young women and increasingly conservative young men

I’d say fascists can get fucked, but apparently they can’t, ha!

  2. This is actually a reflection of the changes that occurred in most societies in the past 4-5 decades. The young ones of today are no longer that interested to have kids or if they do,  they have them much later in life when there is not enough time left to have more than one child.

Immigrants largely default to their new country’s indigenous birth rate on the second generation. Et voilà.

Most western nations are facing this issue, But one thing the idiot politicians never do is put out actual solutions for it, people literally give them the solutions but they always ignore it, this will continue toward a downward spiral, every other year there’s an article on some western country having a birthrate decline, it’s not shocking anymore because way things are going around the world it’s totally understandable, and no paying people to have children will not solve this….

Social media, progressive left gender norms, cost of everything, no incentives.

This is good. This means that there will be less kids on social media.

Most people around me say the same thing: what’s the point of having kids when we can’t afford a living and our leaders decided to kill us all via global warming anyway?

Honestly with the right amount of government provided incentives this issue could be solved quite easily. It would require quite a lot of re-allocation of taxation money from other expanses towards creating incentives for families to have children.

The only problem the government can’t easily solve is providing housing for families as most people can’t afford 3+1 housing.

Education, food, clothing, transport and healthcare could be provided by the government until the age of 18 of the first child of every family for example.

Maybe it’s too much I dunno.

    No wonder.

Back then, families lived together. You could leave the kids with Grandma, your aunt, or the neighbor.

Nowadays, you have to fend for yourself, so good luck with that.

It’s the result of a consumer society focused on individualism.

It’s almost as the corporate greed that has spread across the world like COVID is putting people off having kids

It seems that in 30 years, we can forget about the state pension — who will be left to pay into the pension funds?

Funny thing is that this shouldn’t be a peoblem, unless it was for our weird economic ”always upwards” system. We have enough citizens in the world to continue inventing and progressing as a society even if most people have 1-2 children.

And we have money enough to pay for it. That is, as a society. The money are in the hands of a few however.
