      Children have a more innate human sense of fairness than adults are trained to stray away from sometimes. So for them to lead an uprising – well they were chanting Liberdad (Let us be free!) – is kind of touching to the soul a bit.

      The dilly family detention center, where babies, toddlers, and children are imprisoned, was built and open under the Obama administration, closed under Biden, reopened under Trump.

      The entire system is rotten through and through. But it didn’t start with Trump. No doubt—the trump administration has made it MUCH worse, much much worse, first in 2016-2020, and far far worse now. And it needs to be completely abolished. Or we will be back here again. Abolish ICE and abolish detention centers.

      What happens to these children at that concentration camp will have zero camera angles. Who knows how they are all being punished for this chant. . . Maybe at this very moment.

      A 9 year old in jail, for 3 months. How do you explain to a 9 year old that she is in prison for simply existing in this country? How do you explain to anyone that this country has imprisoned a 9 year old? And a 5 year old? And countless other children.

      When we reclaim the government, DHS and ICE agents should spend the rest of their lives in exactly these conditions. Or ones like CECOT.

The two were transferred to the jail, more than 1,300 miles from home, shortly after being detained.
      School officials familiar with the incident say that an adult living in Liam’s home had begged for ICE agents to let Liam stayafter his father was taken into custody.

      There was ample opportunity to be able to safely hand that child off to adults,” Mary Granlund, chair of the Columbia Heights School Board, said during a press conference last week.
      School officials also said that Liam was used as “bait” by agents, in an attempt to get other people inside the house to exit willingly.”

      These are the type of people they’re dealing with. Awful to use a child as bait.

      I’m not kidding when I say that the Trump admin need to be arrested, tried, and then receive the maximum punishment (which should be a capitol punishment) for what they’ve done.
