So the drone is in the back, unknown state, and they may or may not be being watched by a surveillance drone.

Do they get back in, and risk a remote detonation?

Do they send one guy to go and pick it up / throw it out after a while?

Do they just walk and forget the truck, since there are probably more drones on the way?

Imagine being one of them, you are 100% sure that you will die as the drone goes by your head then nothing happens. Bloody hell , luck of your lifetime.
