  1. Great, less dependence on Ruzzian, US, and M.E. oil. Now just need to figure out how to better recycle the wind turbines.

  2. Mightisrightis on

wind farms are notoriously poor performing and require government subsidies to keep them again, they also cause whales to self strand due to the vibrations in the wate, they also kill birds.

    Stop greenwashing this filth.

I don’t think it will work. We should just stick with coal and fossil fuels.

  4. That are great news. Right now as I write, wind produces 50 % of the elctricity in Germany. In 2024 Germany was at 70 % renewables for the whole year and the whole european Union at almost 50 %.

So the way to a cleaner and independent energy future is clear. And to not suck Norway dry on their water power. 🙂

  5. Wind turbines are an absolute eye sore. I’ll be writing to my MP, demanding that any new ones are buried underground!

  6. lol at all the comments begging the UK to stick with liquified gas dependency on the states and fossil fuels.

99% of Icelands energy comes from renewables, we should all be looking to this to ensure we aren’t caught up in resource wars. But of course the US projects its power by keeping everyone dependent on it for gas just like Russia does..
