      I hate to be blunt, but from the perspective of someone watching from Europe, this is entirely predictable. When a dictator comes to power, the very guns meant to protect citizens from authoritarian rule are immediately seen as a threat. And at that point, the Second Amendment effectively goes out the window. It may still exist on paper, but in reality, it means very little.

      This is actually really good for America. I really wanted Trump to win because maybe people will start questioning their government. You heard these statements from brown people all over the news for tens of years and everyone just said, the soldiers were right everytime

      Conservatives always love to say that the second amendment is necessary to protect citizens from a government wielding too much power.

      The exercising of that right got Pretti killed. He didn’t use the gun, he didn’t brandish the gun, he certainly wasn’t waving it around. The fact is if he decided to leave his gun at home, he probably would still be alive.

      How do the pro-2A people reconcile that? Essentially, he died for exercising his first and second amendment rights.

      This was a planned murder and exfiltration of the murderer and evidence. This is exactly what happened with Renee Good.

      Don’t waste time and effort considering anything else, especially not nazi lies, or reality free centrist waffling.

      Witnesses and very clear video from multiple angles agree.

      He had his gun taken from him before he was shot. He was not holding his gun at any point, it was removed from his belt and presumably holster.
