It has to be voted on by US the people iirc, due to the cost of 1 billion and it being an international thing. The Bundesrat cant make this move on their own. And I dont think that orange muppet will get support of over 50% of us. (Would be a shame if im wrong here) And if we decline by vote it is a good signal that the people dislike it and not just Bern making a decision.
I’m a bit surprised Russia didn’t jump in (then again it’s a billion USD a year.….)…

That board is an absolute joke. Everything can be vetoed by lifetime chairman orange baboon. It’s a club of autocracies, crazy dictatorships and Trump sycophants, and it would be an absolute betrayal of everthing we hold dear. Multilateralism, international cooperation and the many UN institutions we are currently hosting in our country.
Use that billion dollars on infrastructure, education, or buy every Swiss cow a new bell. Anything would better than wasting that kind of money on Trump.
