I got this Xmas week(not on a cruise ship) and I hadn’t been sick in 2 years. Absolutely wrecked me for 5/6 days and it transmits itself incredibly easily

Worked on ships for years. As a crew member, our mantra was “wash your hands, don’t touch your face”
If you wanna be safe on ships always beware of what you’re touching; high traffic areas, railings, handles, etc. Wash your hands as often as you can.
Ship that big, you’re just asking for germs. All these people traveling from who knows where, with who knows what kinda cleanliness. Go into it on defense, it’s not the ship fault any more than it’s the passengers fault.

Are the standards of these ships really this low ? You hear about this happening all the time year round. I wonder how many old and compromised people it kills aboard each year.
