      I hope the mum that reported him in Dubai is eaten away by guilt for the rest of her life. What a despicable shitty human being she is. I think she deserves to be publicly shamed tbh.

      You’d think you would learn your lesson after a year in prison (especially abroad), only to dangerously flee from the police – 3 months later.

      I don’t think keeping bad company is a crime, I don’t think he deserved this, I don’t think you should disregard the need for basic human empathy just because someone doesn’t live a virtuous and faultless existence.

      Nothing in this article suggests that there was any justification whatsoever for the police to start a car chase. I hope they’re properly investigated. There is a very long-standing and concerning problem of police officers launching car chases for no real reason, seemingly oblivious to the dangers they cause to everyone around them. Yes, it’s potentially dangerous for someone to be driving normally without a licence. You know what’s more dangerous? Someone without a licence driving erratically to try and escape from the police.

      I’m shocked but unsurprised at how many people in this thread have decided that he essentially deserved to die merely for being in the same car as a driver who did not have a licence or insurance. I don’t think that’s even a crime.

      So this kind of explained a why he was being chased in the first place, yet people will try and pin the blame on the powerless passenger , I wonder why..

      I’m so upset, that poor kid. Spent a year in a Dubai prison for having sex with a girl in the same year group as him then dies because he friend was driving recklessly.

      And people in this thread are saying he deserves it because his friend drove without a licence? And that the mum was right to report him to the Dubai police on some absolute bullshit because he kept bad company? I know for a fact y’all wouldn’t be saying that if he was a white teenager. Black kids get adultified like crazy, you’re all acting as if he was a violent criminal who got what he deserved when he doesn’t seem to have committed a single crime.

      I feel so bad for his family.
